How’s that Whole 30 Coming Along.

Scroll down to content

I’ll be honest, I don’t follow it while I’m on vacation, andI seem to be on vacation a lot this winter/spring.  Lucky me I know!  It’s interesting though, so many people I know are following this eating style right now. More and more people I talk to are giving it a try.  And although there are things that make it challenging (especially if you travel or are super busy), every single person I talk with about it loves how they feel when they eat clean like this!

A few things that I say are “gamechangers’ with this eating plan:   An AirFryer is a must.  I don’t keep a lot of small appliances on my counter tops, as I have a galley style kitchen, so I don’t have a TON of counter space, but that super XL airfryer sits right there beside my Keurig, and I use it almost every day. I absolutely love it.   While I was visiting my aunt last summer, she pulled hers out and put some coconut shrimp and French fries In there.   Quick, easy and the food came out crunchy onthe outside and moist on the inside.  I was astounded, so she decided I needed one.

So we jumped in the car and headed to the local Kohls and she bought me this Air Fryer (I insisted she did not have to buy this for me, I was sure they sell them in Michigan too, but she is a kind and very generous lady and to the checkout we went).  In my mind I was thinking, I’m not sure how often I can eat breaded shrimp, breaded chicken nuggets and French fries.  So with my FBI-level research skills I jumped on the internet (Pinterest or Google) and started seeing what else I could make with this thing, that may fall under the Whole30 way of eating.

The list and the recipes are endless!  Chicken, breaded or justseasoned, chops, pork roasts, steaks, chicken brats, potatoes, diced slicked or whole, vegetable, seasoned and crisped,  I seriously use it at least 4 days a week.  If I’m not careful I may just wear this thingout.  Of course we do live in Michigan, so we can’t get to our grill right now, it’s buried under 6 feet of snow (literally).  Sometimes I even have to cook in waves, I cook so much in it.

So watch for sales, clip those coupons, and if you don’t have one, I highly recommend you invest.   Even for those who ‘don’t cook’… You just slap it in the basket, toss some spices on there and hit the button.  F you’re feeling really fancy, you can chop up some potatoes, put them in a large ziplock bag, drizzle some olive oil and then some spices, toss them around and then plop them in the basket.  That’s about as fancy as I get with the AirFryer.

And before I publish and say Happy Cooking, I’m looking for business partners in this Rodan + Fields business I am so proud to be a part of, get ahold of me if being a part of a multi-billion dollar business who is in the business of making lives better!
