Ponchos were a big hit when I was a kid in the 70’s. I have pictures of me as a youth in those colorful crocheted pieces of the time. I also still have those gold/brown/orange afghans from the 70’s as well, stored in my basement.

Thank goodness, those days are over. Today’s ponchos are stylish and fashion forward. The bonus is they are warm as well during this crazy Michigan winter.

You can see I still have the mirror selfies going. Good grief, I made this handy little spot in Jackson’s room, but I just can’t get the lighting right. And the weather this winter is NOT conducive to outdoor picture taking!

This grey/blue pinch is Talbots with a Susan Bristol tunic blouse under it and always my fave flats from Life Stride.

We’re still under a blizzard advisory here, I’ll let you know how that turns out. If it continues too long I may have to go down and dig out that afghan!
